I have taken the risk assessment of cancer (colon cancer), as in my family, my father is suffering from colon cancer. Cancer is a disease in which uncontrolled growth of abnormal cells destroys the body tissue. Colon cancer is the third most common cancer in the United States, the prevalence rate of colon cancer is high as over with over 130,000 people diagnosed each year. But it is one of the most preventable cancers. The results of this assessment indicated my risk of developing colon cancer is at slightly above average level. It suggested that risk factor are high because I have diabetes, I do not take any kind of multivitamins, also smoke and, most important I have a family history of colon cancer.
